By downloading, accessing, or using Tipd (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
About Tipd
Tipd is a Dallas, Texas discovery platform that lets you explore places, leave reviews, and like locations around the city. Features include user accounts, place reviews, and personalized recommendations based on your in-app activity.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using Tipd, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
User-Generated Content
Tipd allows you to post reviews and like places. By submitting content, you:
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the App
- Confirm that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
- Agree not to post content that is false, defamatory, offensive, or harmful
- Understand we may remove content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute App content without our permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and technology within the App — excluding user-generated content — are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written consent.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Place information within the App is accurate, complete, or current
- Reviews posted by users are truthful or reliable
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on any content or reviews posted within it.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above or through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
